This fine art piece is created on a real turkey egg that is dipped through a sequence of aniline dyes to create this beautiful design. Each line is drawn on with a kistka (a tool that looks like a pen) that drips thin lines of wax onto the egg shell.
These eggs can at times take dozens of hours to create and no two are ever the same.
Once complete the egg is dipped in a UV protection varnish to keep the colors from fading for many years to come.
I occasionally post videos of this process on my Instagram account. Be sure to follow me there!
